Mercedes Benz C450 / C43 ARMYTRIX Exhaust System – From VC Tuning

Mercedes Benz has done a superb job with the W205 C-class chassis. The company now offers a multitude of engine options in its entry level luxury sedan. For the US market, we are given the Turbo 4 (C300/plug-in) the BiTurbo 6 (C450/C43 varaints) and the almighty BiTurbo 8 (C63/C63s). All of these models have their rightful places in the vehicle line up, but the C43/C450 and C63 have some serious tuning potential.

The C450/C400/C43 variants use the M276 DELA 30 Direct Injected Bi Turbo v6. This 3 liter engine allows for the perfect balance of economy and performance. Using 2 turbochargers (one for each bank) you are able to extract a tremendous amount of power from this vehicle. The first step to unleashing this power is to free up the flow of exhaust gasses.

ARMYTRIX offers a full turbo-back exhaust system for this vehicle and it really helps wake the car up. By removing the restrictions right after the turbo, you are able to improve horsepower and torque as well as sound. You will also see decreased turbo spool up times. The valve system in the muffler gives you the option of “Loud Performance” or “Quiet Cruising” when you deem necessary. With the full exhaust system installed you will see increases of around 20HP and 22FT-LB of torque. You will also shed about 6 pounds off the vehicle weight.

Porsche 991 GT3 RS With ARMYTRIX Header-Back Exhaust System – JP Performance

JP Performance has been doing some amazing things with ARMYTRIX Exhaust systems. There are quite a few videos now showing off a variety of vehicles with exhaust systems installed. Previously we talked about the Focus RS that had recently been fitted with a cat-back system, but now we are going complete race-car with a new Porsche GT3 RS installation.

The GT3 RS is the ultra high performance, race track ready, version of the Porsche 911. This vehicle is equipped with a 4.0 flat 6 engine and tons of weight saving measures. This equates to a light, balanced vehicle with plenty of naturally aspirated power under the hood (Or trunk for that matter). In order to improve performance on this vehicle, you must reduce weight and increase power. That is exactly what the TI ARMYTRIX exhaust system offers for this vehicle.

The construction of this new exhaust system is full titanium (duh) and includes all parts for a header-back installation. This exhaust not only increases exhaust flow, it is also lighter than the OEM unit. You will see gains of up to 19hp and 15 FT-LB of torque and weight savings of almost 20lbs. These figures are substantial in such a light weight vehicle. As always you have full control of the exhaust note via the remote / application which adjusts valve position.

Two Luxury Exotics Receive ARMYTRIX Titanium Exhaust Systems – Lamborghini Aventador and Ferrari F12 – Platinum Cars

Its not often that you see a Ferrari F12 or Lamborghini  Aventador, let alone both in the same place, getting similar modifications done. These pair of exotic vehicles recently had services done at Platinum Cars UK, getting some new ARMYTRIX Exhaust products installed. Both of the vehicles received an upgrade from the Titanium line of ARMYTRIX exhaust systems. These systems allow for a much better exhaust flow and shed tons of weight off the total vehicle weight. A perfect combination of performance and prestige.

In the video posted below, you will see Platinum Cars install these exhausts on each of the vehicles. Since both of these vehicles have integrated exhaust surrounds that are incorporated into the bumper, installation is a slightly more involved task. These guys tackled the hard work beautifully. As payoff, you get to hear the beautiful noises of the V12 engines in both the Ferrari and Lamborghini.

JackUltraMotive Get’s his Focus RS Hooked up with an ARMYTRIX Valvetronic System

Youtube user @JackUltraMotive recently released a video showing the installation steps of his ARMYTRIX exhaust system on his Ford Focus RS. Jack Ultras channel primarily focuses on cars and video games. He is a younger user who has created quite the name for himself doing Vlogs and streaming.  Jack does weekly “challenge” style videos with popular racing games such as Forza, Forza Horizon and GTA5. He also dives into car culture and the realm of high end super cars.

This particular video is a Vlog style, which goes through the installation process of his new exhaust system. His friend takes care of the technical portion while he comments and tapes the progress.
