The GTR is Nissan’s legendary supercar with four seats, the latest tech, all-wheel drive, and a powerful twin-turbo V6 engine that exhilarates. It’s no wonder why the GTR is often called Godzilla – a name that boasts legendary heritage associated with incredible power. A car that has lived up to this lofty moniker deserves the very best if you are going to modify it at all and that is where Armytrix comes in. YouTuber Slovak_GTR has equipped his R35 GTR with the Armytrix de-catted turbo-back Valvetronic exhaust system and the results are remarkable, to say the least. Not only does the vehicle experience heightened power figures, but it also emits a bold exhaust note and shoots flames out the back.

Armytrix’s renowned systems take vehicles to the ultimate level, unleashing the true beast within. The brand’s 90mm (and available 102mm) exhaust pipes offer a surge of exhaust gases in much greater quantity and speed without ever compromising efficiency. This is what it means to attack the boundary of conventional performance expectations – a mission that Armytrix has remained true to since its inception. Every system was tailor-made to carry the max payload to be delivered to thunderous effect. Armytrix exhausts are lighter than stock and offer more unrestrictive flow to improve efficiency and performance with dramatic improvements in horsepower and torque.

This Valvetronic system introduces a new dimension of versatility so that you never have to choose between stealthy or aggressive sound levels. At just the push of a button, you have the freedom to open the valves or close them depending on the sound you wish to achieve. What’s more, the Armytrix-exclusive OBDII dongle system reduces the installation time by 50 percent! With crystal-clear displays and user-friendly controls, navigate through the company’s smartphone app to gain an insightful view into your R35’s real-time operational status and enjoy complete control over the valve settings.

ARMYTRIX Valvetronic: How it Works – Brief Overview

As an Armytrix fan, customer, or potential customer, you have likely heard of Valvetronic. It’s one of the prominent selling features of Armytrix exhaust systems and has shifted the entire exhaust industry towards adopting similar technology in all exhaust systems. The whole point of the Valvetronic system is to give you an option for how loud you want your car to be. If you leave early in the morning for work, you probably don’t want your car to be excessively loud, as it will upset your neighbors. Once you’re out on the open road or shredding a canyon road, you want to hear those awesome noises your car makes.

The Valvetronic system allows you to switch between being quiet and being loud with the push of a button via the included remote or through the smartphone application; this works by tapping into a vacuum source on your engine and connecting it to the control module. When you press the button on the remote or smartphone application, you are communicating with the OBDII module via Bluetooth. This OBDII module tells the exhaust valve module to allow the engine vacuum to open or close the exhaust valve. You can also set the exhaust valve module to an automatic mode which will open/close the exhaust valve based on predetermined RPM range or throttle position.

Aside from getting a brutal sound with the Valvetronic system open, you can also gain power, especially if your car is turbocharged. Depending on the car, modifications, and tune you have, the valve being open will also the exhaust gas to flow more freely, as it does not have to pass through any muffler. If your vehicle is turbocharged, you may see a slight increase in boost pressure depending if you are running an open or closed boost cycle, resulting in more horsepower.

New Armytrix Exhaust Application: Porsche 718 Cayman GTS

As time goes on, the Porsche 911 has gotten quite a bit larger. This has caused quite a few Porsche enthusiasts to opt for the smaller Porsche Cayman. As an enthusiast, you always know a car can be improved with some aftermarket modifications. One of the best modifications you can do to improve horsepower and the overall driving experience is an exhaust system. The problem with many exhaust systems is the sound being too loud or too quiet. Armytrix has worked around this problem with their Valvetronic design which allows you to change the tone of your exhaust on the fly.

  • 7lbs lighter than the stock exhaust
  • Valvetronic mufflers
  • High quality T304 stainless build

Video: Audi RS7 with an Armytrix Exhaust System

If you want a high-end luxury vehicle, a twin-turbo V8 engine, four doors, and lots of space, then the Audi RS7 has your name written all over it. With a 4.0L twin turbo it outputs massive amounts of both horsepower and torque, but us enthusiasts always want more. We want more sound, more power, better looks, better handling, etc. Getting more power, sound, and better looks all with one product is even better.

Just recently, the guys over at Envision put an Armytrix exhaust system on their Audi RS7. Sometime after installation, they put a short video on Instagram of the gauges during full throttle acceleration. From the inside of the car, you can hear just how amazing the Arrytrix exhaust system sounds. The transmission shifts sound absolutely brutal and the pops/crackles during engine braking also sound awesome. Be sure to check out the video below and give Envision a follow!

Now Available: ARMYTRIX Exhaust Systems for Audi S1 2.0L Turbo

Audi has done a fantastic job with the S1 chassis. The extremely small size and 227 horsepower engine make it really fun to drive. The engine is derived from Volkswagen’s EA888 2.0L turbo cylinder which is very well known for its ability to be tuned. Simple modifications like an intake and exhaust are known for gaining quite a bit of power.

The one complaint many Audi S1 owners have is lack of sound. The S1 has to be a luxury car and a sports car. We set out to develop products that would give the S1 a great sound and great performance.

We know many of you out there need your exhaust to be quiet in the morning when you go to work, but loud when it’s time to go fast. Our new exhausts systems use Valvetronic mufflers with a wireless remote so the volume of the exhaust can quickly be adjusted on the fly. We’re also offering the quad tips in a chrome, blue, and matte black finish to really set the look off.

Separate from the full exhaust systems are individual downpipes. We’re introducing a full catless high-performance downpipe for those of you who need to most performance possible. We also offer this new catless downpipe in a ceramic coated finish. Not everyone wants a catless downpipe, so we’re also offering downpipes with 200 cpsi catalytic converters in both a standard finish and a ceramic coated finish.

These exhaust systems offer increased horsepower, improved sound, and a lightweight construction. The Valvetronic muffler is perfect for those of you who need to be quite in the early morning or late night, but want your S1 to be loud when it comes time to put your foot on the gas.
