Video: McLaren 570S with Full Armytrix Turbo-Back Exhaust

When it comes to high-end supercars, there is always one feature that everyone hopes for: a loud exhaust. Supercars often use unique engine configurations and have a very refined exhaust tone. The McLaren 570S uses a twin-turbo 3.8L V8, and this small V8 sounds different from a V8 that you would find in an American car. Although McLaren did a decent job with the exhaust on the 570S, some owners want even more sound.

Aside from the eye-catching wrap and carbon fiber PSM Dynamic wing, this 570S features a full turbo-back, decatted Armytrix Valvetronic exhaust. The Valvetronic feature allows you to change the volume of the exhaust on the fly via an exhaust valve which can route the exhaust gases around the muffler. The massive increase in exhaust flow results in a big jump in power, plus the lightweight construction sheds weight. The ceramic coating found on the downpipes massively improves thermals by reducing the amount of heat the downpipes put off. Be sure to check out the full video of the PSM Dynamics 570S below!

Armytrix Lexus LC500 Exhaust Sneak Peek

When you think of a high-performance two-door powered by a 5.0L, you probably think of the Ford Mustang GT. Those who are familiar with JDM performance vehicles know the Lexus LC500 also falls into that same basic description. Outputting 471 horsepower, the LC500 is quite a fast car. Unfortunately, from the factory, you can barely hear the 5.0L engine, which makes the driving experience more like that of a minivan rather than a powerful coupe. Luckily, Armytrix will soon be releasing a solution to this problem with our Valvetronic LC500 exhaust.

The problem with many aftermarket exhausts is either being too loud or too quiet. Once the exhaust is installed, you can’t easily make it louder or quieter. This problem can easily be solved with a valved exhaust. The exhaust gases can be routed through a muffler like a standard exhaust system, or you can change the position of the valve and route the exhaust gases around the muffler. This means you won’t piss off your neighbors during those early mornings, but you can open the exhaust up and hear it roar on canyon roads. Check out the sound clip below!

Sometimes shooting flames is completely unavoidable and sometimes flames are purposely created on deceleration for show, either way, flames are cool. Harrison Performance GTR 1000+ HP Dyno Rip With Armytrix Exhaust

Every year in the automotive space there is one massive show that attracts thousands of event-goers and hundreds of exhibitors. This show is known as SEMA. For many, it’s a race to get their car completed in time so it can be properly shown off in their event booth. Harrison Performance is a well-known tuner based out of Tucson, Arizona, and they’re on a time crunch to get their GTR finished in time.

Employee Spotlight: Armytrix Equipped Porsche 997 Carrera S

There is no denying that the Porsche 911 is one of the most iconic sport cars of all time. It combines power, looks, and great chassis dynamics into one car. Being that the 911 is also aimed at the luxury car market, there is one big thing that many 911s are lacking, and that’s a good sounding exhaust. From the factory, the 997 Carrera S has a decent sound, but it’s hard to hear unless you are right next to it. The problem with many aftermarket exhausts is they’re either too loud or too quiet. Once you install the exhaust, you can’t easily change the sound of it, unless you install a valved exhaust such as one of our Valvetronic systems.

With a Valvetronic exhaust, you are not stuck with a super loud exhaust that will piss off your neighbors, and you’re not stuck with a quiet exhaust that no one can hear.
